The Design of Labbox Blocks

Labbox blocks are engineered to give kids a safe, hands-on way to explore the science of electronics. With magnetic connectors, polarity signs, protected components, built-in mistake indicators, and a rich library of over 30 blocks, every circuit becomes a discovery to be made. The system encourages experimentation, supports learning through mistakes, and helps children understand how real electronics work.

How to Make a Series Circuit

With Labbox, kids build real series circuits exactly as they’re taught in science. Each block represents an actual electronic component, connected in a single path so current flows through one piece at a time. By turning switches on and off or adding components in line, children see real scientific principles in action—just like in a classroom, but hands-on and instantly understandable.

How to Make a Parallel Circuit

With Labbox, kids can also build real parallel circuits just as they learn in science. By creating separate paths from the same power source, each component works independently, so one light can turn off while the other stays on. Children see the exact scientific behavior of parallel circuits come to life, making the concept clear, visual, and memorable.

What makes Labbox different?

Frequently asked
questions?

Labbox is built to let children truly explore electronics. Every block is protected, so kids can try any circuit without the risk of breaking components. Built-in mistake indicators show exactly where something went wrong, helping them debug independently and understand the science behind each connection. This creates a unique, hands-on learning experience where experimentation and discovery drive real understanding, something no other electronics kit offers.

Labbox is designed for ages 8–99, and no prior knowledge is required. With a parent’s guidance, even 6-year-olds have successfully used our kits.

They are real, functioning electronic components, safe, low-voltage, and classroom-grade.

Yes. Every kit includes step-by-step instructions, guided challenges, and frustration-free electronic blocks.

Labbox is designed so children can discover how electronics and circuits work. They will be able to build numerous circuits, explore sensors, engineering logic, and develop real-world problem-solving skills.
